Cookie policy

The cookies and local storage Quevix uses on its website and in the app, and why. No analytics or advertising cookies.

Last updated

This policy explains how Equalpixels (“we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on the Quevix website and in the Quevix app. The short version: we only use what is needed to make the site and the app work. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.

For how we handle personal data more generally, see our Privacy policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Local storage is a similar browser feature that keeps small pieces of data on your device. “Essential” cookies are those the site cannot work without, such as keeping you signed in or protecting a form from forgery; the law does not require consent for them. Any other cookie, such as one used for analytics or advertising, needs your consent first.

2. Cookies on our website

Our marketing website at https://quevix.com uses only essential storage: it remembers the choice you make in the cookie notice so we do not ask you again.

The app may also keep your theme choice in local storage so the page does not flash the wrong theme while it loads.

4. Payment provider cookies

Paddle, Stripe and PayPal set their cookies only when you open a checkout or manage billing. They are needed to process the payment and to detect fraud, and each provider’s own policy explains them: see the Paddle Privacy Policy, the Stripe Cookie Policy and the PayPal cookie settings.

5. Analytics and advertising

We do not currently use analytics, tracking or advertising cookies on the website or in the app, and we do not let third parties place them. If we add analytics later, we will ask for your consent before setting any non-essential cookie, and we will update this policy first.

6. Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies on the app will sign you out and stop forms from working, and blocking payment cookies may stop a checkout from completing. Clearing local storage on the website will simply bring back the cookie notice.

7. Changes and contact us

We will update this policy when the cookies we use change, and post the new version on this page. If you have any questions about cookies, contact us at [email protected].
