This page explains how to remove Quevix’s access to your social media accounts and how to have the data we hold about you deleted. Quevix is operated by Equalpixels. You can use any of the options below, on their own or together, at any time and free of charge.
In short: permanently deleting an account in Quevix erases its access tokens; removing the app on the platform revokes it from the platform’s side; and emailing [email protected] with the subject “Data deletion request” deletes your whole Quevix account and its data within 30 days.
1. Disconnect a social account in Quevix
This is the quickest way to stop Quevix using one social account.
- Sign in to Quevix.
- Open Social accounts.
- Find the account and choose Delete. The account moves to the trash and Quevix stops publishing to it. You can restore it from the trash if you change your mind.
- To remove it for good, open the trash and choose Delete permanently.
If posts are still scheduled for that account, Quevix asks you to cancel or publish them first. When you delete an account permanently, we ask the platform to revoke our access where it supports that and erase the account’s access and refresh tokens. From that moment we can no longer publish to, read from or delete anything on that account.
2. Remove the app from the platform’s settings
You can also remove Quevix from the social platform itself. This works even if you can no longer sign in to Quevix. Platforms rename their menus from time to time, so the paths below are the typical ones at the time of writing.
Facebook and Instagram (Meta)
On Facebook, go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites (for Pages connected through a business login, it may appear under Business integrations), select Quevix and choose Remove. Instagram professional accounts connect through the linked Facebook Page, so removing the app there also removes our Instagram access. In the Instagram app, connected apps typically appear under Website permissions → Apps and websites.
X (Twitter)
Go to Settings → Security and account access → Apps and sessions → Connected apps, select Quevix and choose Revoke app permissions.
Go to Settings → Data privacy → Permitted services, find Quevix and choose Remove.
TikTok
Go to Settings and privacy → Security → Apps and services permissions, select Quevix and choose Remove access.
Removing the app on the platform stops our access at once. The data we already hold, such as your scheduled posts and statistics, stays in your Quevix account until you delete it or ask us to (see section 3).
3. Delete your whole account and data
To have your Quevix account and all the data in it deleted:
- Email [email protected] from the email address on your Quevix account. If you no longer have access to that address, tell us and we will verify your identity another way.
- Use the subject line “Data deletion request”.
- Say whether you want the whole account deleted or only the data linked to one social account, and name that social account if so.
If you are the account owner, deleting the account also deletes every workspace in it and removes your team members’ access. If you would like a copy of your data first, ask in the same email.
4. What gets deleted
When we complete a full deletion request, we delete:
- your profile: name, email address, password hash, timezone and preferences;
- workspaces, team memberships, roles and pending invitations;
- connected social accounts: OAuth access and refresh tokens (which we also revoke), account IDs, usernames, display names, profile pictures and page or company page names;
- posts, drafts, schedules, captions, first comments and approval history;
- media library files, uploaded images and videos, rendered templates and brand kits;
- AI prompts, generated text and images, and AI credit usage records;
- post statistics, snapshots and follower counts;
- support conversations, once the request is closed.
Posts that were already published remain on the social platforms, because they are part of your account there. Delete them on the platform, or ask us to delete specific posts from the platforms before we delete your account.
5. What we keep, and why
We keep only the data the law requires us to keep: invoices, payment and tax records, which Paddle (as Merchant of Record) and we retain for as long as tax and accounting law requires. We may also keep a minimal record that your deletion request was made and completed, so we can prove we acted on it. Nothing else is kept.
6. How long it takes
- Within 72 hours: we confirm we have received your request.
- Within 30 days: we complete the deletion from our live systems.
- Within a further 30 days: the deleted data rolls off our encrypted backups.
7. Confirmation and request status
Our confirmation email includes a confirmation reference for your request. To check its status at any time, reply to that email or write to [email protected] quoting the reference. We email you again when the deletion is complete.
8. If you are a team member
If someone else’s account invited you, the posts and media you created belong to that account and are deleted when its owner deletes them. You can leave the team at any time, and you can ask us to delete your own profile; we will then remove your name and email from the account and show your past activity without your name.
9. More information and contact
Our Privacy policy explains what data we collect, why, and your rights under the GDPR and other laws. For any question about deletion, contact us at [email protected].
