Which social networks matter in Saudi Arabia?

Saudi Arabia’s network mix is different from most markets. In DataReportal’s Digital 2026: Saudi Arabia report (published November 2025, checked 23 October 2026), TikTok, YouTube and Snapchat have the largest advertising audiences, ahead of Instagram and Facebook, and X is also widely used.

When should you post in Saudi Arabia?

Plan around the Friday–Saturday weekend, which replaced the Thursday–Friday weekend in 2013 (Saudipedia, checked 23 October 2026). Thursday evening is the time for “this weekend” offers and test drive invitations.

Ramadan 2027 is expected to begin on about 8 February, with Eid al-Fitr around 9 March, following the Umm al-Qura calendar. Dates depend on moon sighting and the Supreme Court’s announcement, so prepare posts for two possible days.
